Join us for a webcast showcasing the Queller Leadership Scholars Program at Central Michigan University (CMU). In partnership with FranklinCovey Higher Education, this program integrates The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to empower their first-generation, business students to thrive personally and in school, persist to graduation, and be prepared for the workplace.

Measures of Success

The following is data from the 2024-2025 student cohort:

  • Scholars overwhelmingly agreed they were effectively able to "Develop leadership capacity through the 7 Habits" and "Demonstrate growth in leadership skills" (Mean: 4.83 and 5.00, respectively).
  • Scholars rated the ability to "Build community and network" with an outstanding mean score of 4.83, and "Connect to First Gen resources" (Mean: 4.67).
  • Scholars achieved perfect scores (Mean: 5.00) in mastering key leadership habits, including Be Proactive®, Put First Things First®, and Sharpen the Saw®.
